A-TAN ASIAN BISTRO & SUSHI BAR
A family-run business with the kitchen led by head chef, Mike Yeh, A-Tan [San Marcos] is a new second location for the beloved New Braunfels restaurant. To make the most of a compact space, Colorspace worked to maximize seating and service space, providing for both a cocktail and sushi bar, a full-service kitchen and an efficient dining room. Selected finishes and design elements combine the simplicity of exposed steel structural elements and the warmth of wood with clean Asian-inspired fixtures and furnishings. The dining room is then brought to life with an adapted full-wall print of The Great Wave of Kanagawa by ancient Japanese artist, Hokusai, as well as a featured illuminated logo fixture that celebrates the restaurant's namesake. Design services were also provided for exterior and interior signage.
