THE SHOPS AT THE LEANING PEAR
Following the incredible evolution of The Leaning Pear Restaurant and its 2013 expansion, The Shops aims to bring retail and office to enhance the site as a destination for residents and visitors alike to the Wimberley area. Simple forms and roof lines play off of the adjacent restaurant while defining in plan a new outdoor gathering space to welcome visitors to the site. A natural material palette settles the building in the landscape through the warmth and texture of metal, plaster and wood. Simple interior design for all retail spaces takes advantage of the height offered by unique inverted roof trusses and creates the foundation for airy, light-filled customer experiences.
